Hi, February's MOTM is Sulfanilamide, which is an antibiotic drug. The page has been written by Peter Tebbutt from Cherwell Scientific Publishing, and is a really good example of how java applets on a page can really enhance scientific presentations. The page also contains information on various other molecules which are structurally related to Sulfanilamide, such as Protonsil, folic acid, and sulfathiazole. The direct URL is: http://www.cherwell.com/chemsymphony/sulfanil.html or via the MOTM page at: http://www.bris.ac.uk/Depts/Chemistry/MOTM/motm.htm Regards, ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr Paul May, School of Chemistry, University of Bristol, UK tel: +44 (0)117 928-9000 x4276, fax: +44 (0)117 925-1295 <mailto:paul.may@bris.ac.uk> <http://www.bris.ac.uk/Depts/Chemistry/staff/pwm.htm> "Can you imagine a world in which there are no hypothetical situations?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------- chemweb: A list for Chemical Applications of the Internet.
