I am working to prepare a soluble polypyrrole polymer. Could anyone tell me that using DBSA (dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid) or DBSNa (dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid, sodium salt) affects, in some way, the polymerization process ? Thanks. Sorin Filip.
Hallo Sorin Filip.... I can not answer your question but may be the following can help you... 1) Prof.Heeger / Uni Santa Barbara -CA-USA is using very extensively DBSA for Polyaniline... Try to contact him directly... 2) You can have a look to the Synthetic Metals..I can imagine that there are some hints within the literature Best regards.... chemweb: A list for Chemical Applications of the Internet.
